Uni: Want to Sea my Urchin?

Star Light, Uni bright, first Echinoderm I see tonight.  I wish I may, I wish I might, have me some Live Maine Urchin on my raw bar tonight! These Echinoderms are like the hedgehogs of the sea and their habitats can range from tidal zone to the deep dark ocean abyss. There are over 7,000 species of them in the world and the ones I am telling you to shuck and toss up on your bar are in SEASON!  'Tis the season for turkey, tis the season for some bomb ass uni stuffin'... Do dat Gobble Wobble. Did ya know? Starfish and Urchins are in the same famiglia. Both species have fierce mouths under their bodies and move around slowly by way of tiny tube-like foot projections.    When you cut into the equator of an urchin to remove the uni, watch out for barbed spines! These spines facilitate an easy entrance under your skin but are very hard to remove: Kind of like the weird hippy dude who has been crashing on your couch for the past month. Hire an evil urchin kitty to protect against couch intruders.
