Sometimes you feel like a Clam Roll.

Talk about hitting the spot, this clam roll quickly cured me of not only a hangover but a hankerin' for a damn good fried bivalve. Thank you Clam Shack on the Falmouth Harbor, Cape Cod. You RULE the SCHOOL!

I wonder what kind of clams they use... Ipswich shucked clams? Or do they shuck their own?

Ipswich Shucked Clams are sold by the half gallon!

Staunch clam roll advocates demand the Ipswich clam. Take Maria "Chickie" Aggelakis for example. She is the proud owner of the world famous Clam Box in Ipswich, MA.  This restaurant is so innovatively designed that it actually looks like an open box of fried clams, road side. She says that "if the clams don't come from Ipswich, you might as well eighty-six the whole dang menu." Okey dokey, Clam Damsel!!!
In another exclusive clam interview, I spoke with Dave Delancey, owner of the Lobster Trap and local celebrity in Monument Beach, MA.  So how exactly does Dave feel about the Ipswich clams in comparison to those of ye' native Cape Cod beds?

"They are all pretty daaaahn good", says Dave in a thick Cape accent. "I nevah tasted a clam I didn't like!"
This guy is my HERO!!!!
