Weekend Feasts: Rucola Brooklyn, Lobster Art and MORE.

This long weekend was a doozy in NYC!

We brought some of these shuckas up from Cape Cod...

We brined a turkey like good New Yorkers:

We ate THIS until we could stomach no more:

We saw an wild art installation by Maurizio Catellan at the Guggy:

I had a moment with one of my favorite Picasso paintings of all time:

Reoooooow Kitteh!

AND THEN we were off to my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn:  RUCOLA

BABY QUAILS, BABY QUAILS.

Try the homemade pasta or regret it for the rest of your dying days!

Brook Trout with Olives was so succulent.

Striper with Pomegranate and Squash Puree. Cooked to Perfection.

Every single dish was unique in taste and texture.

After dinner we lingered with owners Julian Brizzi, Henry Rich and the amazing Chef Joe Pasqualetto!

Julian and I used to live together in Williamsburg when we were young whipper-snappers. Now he is all growed-up, owns a restaurant and was recently married in New Orleans to the beautiful Dr. Lucy Willis.

Some speedos never change.

Thanks Rucola for the delicious dinner!

NO LEFTOVERS.
