A broad shift in "catch shares"from small fishing vessels to the larger, more corporate fishing vessels across Massachussetts fishing communities is leading to major economic turmoil for many small time fisherman in the state. Why do I feel like this is the way things always go these days, no matter what industry? Oh, because it is. Maybe we should start an "Occupy Georges Bank" to save the fishermen. The government makes it so hard for fishermen to make any money. Don't they care about the traditions and cultures of America? Fishermen are the Salt of the Earth! Don't put the small guys out of business.
